Sony announced that 20 year old Shannon Rodriguez has won the "Take the Stage with "Singstar" competition last week. Out of 4,300 contestants, she came in first with a total score of 9,952 while singing the Police classic "Don't Stand So Close To Me."
Shannon was rewarded with a PS3 with a plethora of games, an opportunity to record a SingStar
song of her choice (The Darkness "I Believe in a Thing Called Love") at Foster City music studios, and a nights stay in an awsome hotel with her own limo, and a new wardrobe.
